Hi friends!

Just wanted to shoot an update email to catch you all up on where i am these days… After my AMAZING two years in Kona… I am now in..

WHERE?
San Clemente, CA (It’s in southern orange county)

WHAT?
its basically a little piece of Hawaii in California…
sunny + the ocean + beaches + surf culture + small shops + flip flops + palm trees + chill = PERFECT location for Mina….

WHEN…
I moved here about a week ago.. drove all the way down from seattle with my mom in a UHAUL and brought my life down with me… kind of scary.. but exhilarating at the same time..

WHY???
To make a long story short… after much prayer, thought and some more prayer… I knew my season in Kona was temporarily over.  God told me to “GO” and He released me to my family and education.  Over two years ago I left Seattle to take a DTS before finishing school and since then I’ve been on an eye opening journey that has been the most exciting, hardest and fulfilling times of my life… and the amazing part is that God Himself has taken me from Seattle, to Kona, to the middle east and to Africa… and during this journey, I have met the most influential people in my life.  After many tears, laughter, heart ache, and joy… I am excited to continue in God’s plan here in California. It is absolutely the best feeling to know I am being led on this path cause if it were up to me… I’d be a bit freaked out. =)

God is so good and ALWAYS faithful…
Because of Him…

*I am in a place close to my family, bridging my immediate family with relatives here in Cali.

*I decided to major in business at Saddleback college and have never been excited to go to school until now.

*I feel solid and not shaken, at peace and undisturbed

*All the logistical things fell into place perfectly

*My parents and even extended family are supporting me 100%

Prayer requests:
- to build a healthy community of good influence and new friendships
- to continue my passion in discipleship even during the busiest times
- to be a bridge extending love amongst my family in California, korea,
and seattle and for our relationships to grow
- more revelation of who God is and what it is to really love on others
- to be strong and focused in school, not for what I can do for myself,
but what I can do for the Kingdom and others.
- to learn vast amounts of knowledge that can be utilized in the future
for something greater and life changing.
- for favor, protection and strength in my preparation for the business
  world

Thanks for all your prayers and support!

Much love,
Mina

JORDAN/LEBANON

Before leaving for outreach

Amman, Jordan

***We helped Y Jordan build up a coffee house in a language center for the local muslim communiity.
It is a great opportunity for the staff to build relationships with the locals.

On our way to Jerash on public transport...that was an adventure in itself...

good ole desert..

doing the "mud thing" at the Dead Sea

Beautiful Petra

A mosque in Beirut, Lebanon

worshipping in Saida, Lebanon

kids at the shelter... i love them so...

arts and crafts time..

i loved all the kids but these three were so precious...

***the street kids shelter houses around 50 children from ages 3-18yrs old.
they all come from broken families and have experienced abuse, addictions, neglect...
all of these children have their own story...
praise god for a place such as this to keep them out of harm...

the famous Cedars of Lebanon

Working with children at a Nazarene School

The girls at a mosque

Bedouin children

Winni playing games at the village...

Bill worshipping with the bedouins...

two out of the hundred beautiful bedouin children...

***The Bedouins are an unreached people group that are dispersed all over the middle east.
This people group are muslim and live in poverty and old tribal traditions..
The team fellowshipped with them and loved on them praying that they get a glimpse of who Jesus
is..

On our way to the shelter

Sunset at the Mediterranean Sea

My wonderful, amazing, beautiful team

I thank God and give Him all the glory for this outreach and team... this family...
We encouraged the churches..
worked with Iraqi refugees...
evangelized in the streets of Beirut..
cleaned beaches...
interceded for the people..
passed out bibles in Muslim communities...
preached the Gospel...
discipled children from several schools...
visited homes and prayed over Palestinian Refugee Camps...
built a language center and coffee shop...
worshipped everywhere we went...
claimed the nations for God...
saw people get healed and saved...
and so much more....

HALLELUJAH...
GOD IS GOOD AND MOVING IN THE MIDDLE EAST...
THE HARVEST IS ROTTING BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF WORKERS...

I'm back in Kona, Hawaii..
waiting and seeking...
we'll see what's next....
